Frequently asked questions

Are paid research studies legit?

Yes. The listings come from university research portals, ClinicalTrials.gov, and researchers recruiting on Reddit. Legitimate studies never ask you to pay to take part. If one does, skip it.

How much do research studies pay?

It depends on the length and the commitment. Short interviews and online studies often pay $25–$150, focus groups $75–$300, and multi-visit clinical studies can pay much more. Every listing shows its pay range when the researcher publishes one.

Do I need to sign up to browse?

No. Searching and browsing every listing is free with no account. Sign in only if you want full access to eligibility criteria and coordinator contact details.

Can I take part from home?

Many studies are remote: video interviews, online surveys, and usability tests. Search for “online” or “remote” to find them.

Why didn’t I get selected?

Researchers recruit for specific profiles: age, location, health history, or product use. Checking the eligibility criteria before applying saves you time on studies you won’t qualify for.

How do I get paid?

The research team pays you directly, usually by gift card, check, or bank transfer once your session is done. We never handle participant payments.
